I am inspired by the physical form of the human body so much of my work is figurative. I want to portray the beauty and the angst, the individuality and the expression of the human form. By semi-abstracting the figure I can integrate them into their environment so that they become part of the landscape.
I also create abstract drawings and paintings, using music as part of the creative process. I love the process of creating something without knowing the final outcome until it is complete.
Essentially I want to explore the relationships between people, our environment and our lives. I want to share the pleasure of visual art with my audience and to communicate and express myself through it. Some of my paintings from past to present can be seen below.
