`Venice` by Sue Ruddy, an art class student

Booking is essential in order to reserve a place on a class. You can book as many or few classes as you wish. Places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. To book please call me on 05602 952638 (Standard rate)

My teaching aim is to build confidence and create enjoyment through the learning process. I teach to a high standard and accept beginners as well as more experienced artists.

My students learn drawing skills such as  perspective, mark making and tone. Drawing forms the foundation of the class but people who are not confident in their drawing ability need not be put off! We also explore watercolour, pastels, colour mixing, charcoal and mixed media. We work from life, visual images and the imagination.

From 2004 - 2006, I ran my own adult art classes at various venues around the county.  The classes proved very popular, and are now run by my father David Ochiltree, whilst I took time off to raise my family.

In addition to my own art classes I have taught workshops at The Gloucester Tall Ships Festival and Gloucester Carnival.
